Q: What exactly is health coaching?

A: The short answer is that health coaching is my answer to the question: "What would I do if I were in your shoes?" Our work together starts by the two of us sitting down together at your own kitchen table and just talking through all the details of your health history. The more information we can get on on the table, the easier it will be for us to figure out what is at the root of your health problems.

At the end of our first session we'll discuss likely problems in your lifestyle and agree on two or three concrete actions you can take immediately to get started. We record these agreements and each keep a copy so that you are able to stay accountable far making the changes happen.

Between sessions I will be analyzing the information you've given me and scouring the scientific literature for clues to the root and causes of your health problems.

Q: How often do we meet?

A: For most people, one session every 1-2 weeks is about right in the beginning. Then, depending on your goals we can continue this schedule, or start to space the sessions out farther as you gain knowledge and independence.


Q: Where do we meet?


A:
We meet in your own home for both health coaching and in-home personal exercise training.

Q: How should I prepare for our 1st session?

A: For your first session dress comfortably and prepare to answer the questions:  What would total success look like for you after working together?  It is important that we both clearly know our target.  Next, I'll want hear your story.  How did you come to this moment?  We take extra time to really dig into your history and talk about where you're at now.  My goal is to customize your workout plan to your life.  The more I understand you the better I can develop a plan that is custom made to fit your life.


Q: Can we meet at my own gym?


A: I exclusively provide in home coaching, training and research services.

 

Q: How much do your services cost?


A: Your first session is $250 and lasts 2-3 hours. After that follow-up sessions are $190 and usually last 1-2 hours.

Q:  Do you accept credit cards?

A:  I accept PayPal.
